Emmanuel Mbakwe is the National Leader of the Apostolic Church, UK. He was born in Lagos, Nigeria, in 1958. He began attending the Apostolic Church in Kennington, London, in the early ‘70s; having left his native Nigeria as a teenager to join his parents in the UK. He was called as an evangelist in the local Church in 1984, ordained as an Elder two years later and called into Pastoral ministry in May 1992, as a non-salaried Pastor; but ordained in the March of the following year. He is recognised as an Apostle in the Body of Christ and Pastor-teacher with a global vision and brings a unique insight into God’s agenda for His Church and the world. Prior to taking up his current role in 2008, his bi-vocational career combined pastoral ministry in a local church in London, with business and management consultancy, working for and advising some of the world’s leading commercial organisations. A gifted communicator, Emmanuel speaks and writes with prophetic insight and clarity on the major issues of our day.
